MASKING TAPE [chochin]

Chochin is a traditional Japanese lantern that was originally used for lighting in homes and on the streets as far back as the Muromachi period.
Made of paper and bamboo, these lanterns are lightweight and foldable, making them both practical and beautiful. Today, they are a familiar sight at festivals, shrines, and traditional restaurants, where their gentle glow creates a nostalgic and welcoming atmosphere. The chochin featured on this masking tape is the type often seen hanging at Shinto shrines as offerings to the gods, as well as at the entrances of geisha houses to invite good fortune and protection.

Perfect for gift wrapping, cards, collages, and more, adding a unique touch to your creations. This decorative paper tape is easy to use and remove, making it ideal for a variety of creative projects.
